I sort of have to opposite problem to you, I have a huge list of breeds I'd like just one or two of for the laying pen but don't want to bring in a whole heap of new birds because I don't want to bring in any diseases. Shipping in eggs to get one or two birds is expensive if they don't hatch.
Yes it is expensive. It is a chance you take with shipped eggs. Fortunately, NoseyChickens is only two hours from me, so I can go get them!!!!
