Surprisingly, despite my bulb-burn-out issues, I still hatched 8!

This is one of my Icelandic chicks that hatched last weekend

And my sweet little Easter Turkey

I set 20 turkey eggs for the easter hatch.

4 hatched

2 were culled

Net result = 1 midget white and one blue slate

Locked down 24, 10 hatched and 1 is dying. Poor Eggbert.

Started with 78, pulled 15 on day ten, lockdown 63 (never recandled) hatched 49. Sold 10 today.

Cleaned out hatcher and locking down 17 eggs tonight. Molted Javas & barred OEs

OOo and bought Quail eggs at the local auction, never hatched Quail.

I am still hatching, 7 ducklings have hatched so far and several more are pipped. I will candle the rest of the eggs tomorrow to see what is going on.

My hatch is still going on. Out of my 5 duck eggs that went to lockdown, I have 2 ducklings. The other 3 died. These two needed complete help getting out, due to being shrink-wrapped, but are doing great! Thanks, Yotetrapper! I ordered a Brinsea Octagon 20 on Friday-I am tired of the humidity issues with my Hovabator. I was about to give up on my remaining Orp eggs, but when we got home from church I found one zipping!

I have 1 more pip, and one is zipping now! CORRECTION-just hatched, and my pip is beginning to zip!
