She was so lonely I rang around and tracked down some chicks. Only wanted 1 or 2 but 'somehow' ended up with 6 White Leghorn Banties!
They are so cute, wild as and fly beautifully because they were hatched by a sneaky broody and are about 3-4wo. They were the only chicks I could find as it's the wrong time of year here. Lucky they are banties and not to much bigger than my little baby and are all getting along fine. It was so funny when I first put them in the brooder they were scared of Easter!

14. Dsqard's Strangest Place They Lay Contest: WEEK TWO CONTEST CONTEST CLOSED
Post your pictures of the strangest location you have ever had poultry (Turkey, guinea, pea, goose, etc) lay an egg. For this contest if you need to post more than one picture to prove that your hen laid in that spot, please do but let us know which picture to use. Also if you need to photoshop in a closeup with an arrow pointing out your girl, that's acceptable, too but please post the original as well. We will accept entries until 12 PM next Saturday (the 16th) The winner will be announced next Sunday the 17th. Please PM Dsqard the number of your post if your picture doesn't show up on the page.
