I might have to hoard a couple for me. I still want to hatch some of Larry Clionsky's birds, too. A nice lady named Amy will be joining in with eggs set a week early. Y'all give her a nice welcome when she shows up.

I built some brooder pens last month, perfect for raising chicks and holding broody hens. I have dividers in them as well so I can fit 100 chicks or 2, three boody hens or a pair that I'm hoping for eggs from.

Ugh...talking about rolling right on through...I have 44 eggs in a bator that "holds 42" right now, and 24 more waiting to go in....guess it's time to fire up bator #2!!!

Forced by the law of physics to only hatch 7 at a time..simply can't fit anymore in (yes..i tried) haha

Got a dozen Coturnix eggs and a Dozen eggs from my own hens I'll be setting in a day or two. I'm giving the eggs in the bator now a chance to hatch before I set more. The eggs in the bator now are my Legacy of Peepers eggs(Peepers was my very first hen and these will be the 4th generation of her babies)

Just to make you guys a bit more impatient:

A 1 day old Button chick from Sunday's hatch. Got 9 of the little boogers! and also 8 Coturnix.
