Don't feel bad, I've been thinking the same thing.

I have been

over those Lavendar babies since I saw them earlier, but really can not afford to pay that much for eggs.

Both sets of those babies were gorgeous though.

I would love to one day be able to own a pair. You guys are doing a great job on them. Keep up the good work.

Yup, I too had considered ordering chicks from CC but, alas, I just don't have the room.

I'll stick with the three breeds I have and be happy.

Crystal Creek, those chicks are adorable and so is the little girl! Cuties to the extreme

Illia so glad your girls are starting to lay again and I hope you get that cat before it causes more problems! Daisychick, your eggs from Crystal Creek are due to hatch later this week? You know you will have to post pictures! My Brahma eggs are going into lockdown on Thursday morning. Can't wait!

Were getting snow too. Yesterday it was 50 degrees and pouring, most of the snow was melted, and today is 25 and snowling. Luckly were only in for about 2 inches. The birds didn't get to go out at all yesterday, and I don't think they will go out in the snow.

The silkies are cranking up. Yesterday I got 3 eggs from the buff pen.
