I candled on day 8 and had 10 out of 12 of CrystalCreek's eggs show development. The other 2 had nothing of interest going on when I cracked them open. Pen B if you're keeping track

I had one casualty of mine that I dropped and cracked and had 1 quit, but from what I can see I have 100% fertility in the Iowa Blues and the EEs! Of course that means I'm still hand turning 54 eggs

Geeze you people never sleep!

Less than 5 days until my kid comes home to visit! I am SO excited!!! Then we have softball season to look forward to. And with sofball season come the srping winds out here. UGH!

My duck eggs are doing well. Due on the 18th. YAY! I and am dying to candle the 23 eggs I set the other day to see how well my polish and cochin roosters are doing their jobs.

Just out of curiosity for those of you who sell hatching eggs. What is the longest you will collect before you ship them off? I have been going with 3-4 days only. Is that about right?

Now I am off to Lowes to spend a bunch of money on some home improvement projects.
