I don't think our fences are goat-proof.

NoseyChickens, it sure has been a rough patch for you has't it? I don't know if it's true that bad things come in three's but I think they do come in groups. My car was wrecked a few weeks ago when a semi took a corner too close and then my mom had a "bad" mammogram and my grandmother started to fail. Tis life I guess. I keep telling myself all will be as it is supposed to be. I hope things turn out well for you and your dad.

On the other hand I'm with Wolftracks. I'm having a GREAT first hatch! 25 hatched on day 20 and another 10 out by this morning. Still more pips! AND I have 3 lovely lavenders! CrystalCreek is awsome!

Yup, "it's just a hybrid turkey" when it's a chick.

"wow, the guy at the farm SAID it was turkey, and I was all excited about a great dinner on Thanksgiving. Geeze."

By that point he will love it and we'll be all set!
