Ok, I just gotta ask: Am I the only one that's joined this hatch that needs to build another coop or build an addition to the current coop? Let me explain...I have a 10x12 coop, divided by 4sf/bird = 30 chickens. I currently have 25 chickens. I also have 5 EE roos that I will butcher soon. I have 10 from my NY's hatch, 5 of which are roos. I have 9 babies that are 1-2 weeks old. My coop won't hold all these birds! I need Farmer Lew to come help me out! LOL!!


Oh yeah, I have three turkey eggs in the bator right now too!

Tell me about it I am having to build a new hatcher, going to build it similar to my GQF that i got recently.

Set 83 eggs on 03-20-2011
Just got 18 eggs in the mail today to go with the 39 I have collected over the past couple of days and what comes out of the coop today and Friday. Will set Friday night


Looks like I may have to resort to the LG for the Easter hatch.

Almost forgot I have 140 chicks coming on 03-31-2011

I know DaisyChick is the Incubator Tetris Master Consultant. I wonder if she has ideals on stacking coops and runs.

I think I may have an addiction. Naaa just love fuzzy butts and chickens.

And just think I keep telling my wife I only have 38 chickens.

Don't ya just love chicken math.
