My 1588 holds 42 eggs but I always use one of the slots for my tubing to add water.

But then, I always end up stacking so my hovabator will sometimes have as many as 56 eggs in it.

Here is a pic of the 1588 for the NYD hatch...

Will it make any difference how I distribute them? What humidity do you aim for in the first 18 days? I've seen people mention "dry hatches" where they add no water until lockdown, but I think others have said 30-50%?
 
I continuously add water to keep my humidity right around 35% for days 1-18.
Then I up it to between 60% to 65% for the last three days. I've had good luck that way.
