Nope ten years in the Army but I did have a fairly smart recruiter!

We have been painting our house. Hubby left the back door open for fresh air. One of our hens, Pearl, kept pacing back and forth at the gate. So he was curious and opened the gate. She hesitated not, and bolted straight for the open door. Into the kitchen, snooping around every nook and cranny, and progressively worked her way through dining room, bathroom (including jumping into the tub) and finally into the living room. There she painstakingly chose a dark quiet spot and proceeded to lay an egg.

Now every day, she paces back and forth at the gate for him to let her into the house. And he says I am a crazy chicken lady?

No frozen eggs here - but hard boiled if left outside in the heat. I shall work on trying to train them to put the eggs into the carton.

Yeah wellllll.... only been there twice and not for long. Ended up there somehow when I was driving with my husband got some rest on out drive to OK for my dad's funeral last May. Smoked a cigarette, got back in the car and turned back the right direction after he woke up.

I also have a GPS on crack! Got it in time to use it for Chicken Stock also last May. kept trying to get up to drive in the lake.......think I'll take ....VEGAS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
