Ok, I got my eggs set last night at about 9 PM. I was at work all day and it was either several hours early or several hours late, so I decided late was better. I set 4 turkey eggs on the 26th/27th with a power outage that day that will have set them back a bit, 12 eggs from superchemicalgirl (thank you so much), and 11 of my own eggs (Barred Rocks and Polish). This makes a total of 4 Turkey and 23 Chicken. There are more eggs than that in the bator, but I have been staggering hatches, so several are earlier set. I have them stacked with a few cups unused as I am finding the corners have had minimal success in development, so I am leaving those spots empty.

I was going to use a hen that had been trying to go broody for about a month, but she broke Thursday, go figure.

I sure hope so... These will be my very first lavs.. They were from someone local so no shipping problems... I started with 10 and at day 8 I had two clears and two quitters... I candled them on day 16 and they all looked good! You'd think with as many hatches as I've done, I'd be more laid back about it... If these eggs weren't so expensive, i wouldn't be worrying as much...

Boy, am I a dork or what? I was reviewing my list of 78 eggs and realized I hadn't set 12 Salmon Faverolles eggs. Huh? Oh crud, they're still in the shipping box!! Auuugh!

Well, heck. So I unpacked 'em and put 'em in the few spare spots in each Octagon20 and then I pulled out some larger eggs and replaced 'em with the SF eggs, and ended up stacking 3 eggs in one incubator.

So my total now is NINETY eggs for this hatch. I think I might just go swoon in a corner.
