Then again, w'eve added another 12 participants today that we didn't know we had hatching with us....

But the chaos is all part of the fun

absolutely true... my wife still wonders if I'm adding eggs to the bator and is happy to see me on the computer and not walking in from the back yard to check on the bators....

OMG Key West hens are the broodiest things ever!! One of the mommas tonight was gathering up the other hens' (the 2 non broody ones) eggs and trying to sit on them with all her chicks..whaaattt?? That's it! I am taking every egg out of that coop the second its laid. No wonder Key West has an over population problem with them LOL!

41 in the bator. 17 black coppers (1st 3 rows on the left) 12 wellsummer.(next 2 rows) 12 black cu , blue cu and splash maran coverd by Blue splash maran for blue coppers.

They are set in this ole relic, The turner fits perfect, holds temp like none other,upgraded to electronic controler, temp varies .5 and have added a fan to move the air. This will be the 3rd cluth in Ethel.

I like her.

Sorry I'm late with posting. On Saturday I set 28 eggs at noon. 14 speckled sussex, 8 Barred Cochin bantams and 6 Ameracauna bantams.
