I just candled my goose eggs that are on day 7 and 8 of 9 are fertile

Still no action in chicken LOCKDOWN world... How on earth are so many chicks hatching THIS early? I would be worried my temps were too high if I had chicks on day 18... no? nobody worried? No sore navels? nada?

Mahonri- 3 more chicks out, all look to be BWA or some other variation on white chicken.

So that puts you at 5, me at 2.

Congrats Fuzzybutts!

I HATE my Brinsea... it's gone haywire.

I have it set at 101.1 to get it to go up to 99.5.

I'm wondering if it's the cool water coming in from the humidity reservoir?

I feel lucky to get the one chick out of it. There is one pipped in there but when I last had to set the temp, it was 97 with the spot check at egg level.

I'll be lucky if I get 20 chicks out of 70 eggs.
