Just checked on the egglings - 2 pips in there! One Ameraucana (split fuzzy) and one EE (Marans x Am). Woot!

2 pipped...63 to go. (of 78 set)

Day 19 here as well... no action... but mine usually hatch on day 20 and quick from pip to zip.

Well, shucks! I am only on day 18 here, a day behind you all, as I set 24 hours late. I am going into lockdown now.

I did too.......just locked down today.

ETA: Should I add that I dropped one when transferring to the hatcher?

A lot of shell came off......I saw blood...I can see the chick and it is moving so I wrapped it and put it in there too

It's 11:05 and there's no real progress on my 3:20 pip. I am going to go to bed and try not to decide that I must have killed him. Hopefully, I'll wake up to cheeping in the 'bator. If not,

But even if this pip does not progress, there are 14 other eggs in there. With any luck, I'll have some chicks by the end of this.

It's still only day 19!

Ok so question, is it going to be bad that i left my eggs all in their racks. I normally lay them down in the hatching tray, but there just wasn't enough room, I feared that as chicks hatch they would trample and turn eggs to the point of the ones inside would end up drowning. So I took 2 FULL racks and set them in the hatching tray, the remaining eggs I left on the lowest turning rack and turned the turners off... If they fall off the turning rack it wont be a far fall below. Should have I left the others up on the turning racks too and only had the hatching tray for the falling chicks? Or should I have tried to stack the remaining eggs down in the hatching tray too?? AHHH I didn't expect quite this many to end up in lockdown! Let me know! I just put them in lockdown so it isn't too late to run and move them around if need be!
