I think in my case, it might have been sat on for a few hours. I had a broody...

Actually, now I have 3 broodies. How many chicks can you stuff under a silkie?

I finally went and looked at the eggs. They are still eggs. Sitting there comfortably waiting for Saturday. Even my bantams don't hatch til day 20. And my temp is 100 even.

I've got another day of mind-numbing data entry work for the Annual Inventory, and without iPad access. (Which is why I haven't been around during the day much this past week.) So I probably won't have much to report or natter about until Friday night or Saturday.

Then, Sunday afternoon, I'm going to head to the foothills to look at two properties for sale!!

Well, since I moved eggs to the hatchers, I have ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL this open space in the Sportsman.

Ya know???? 144 open slots.

Have 7 out of 16 eggs eggs pipping!!!!!???? Guess the temp on my Brinsea was set a little higher than I thought.

Last months hatch was a perfect 21 days -- this early stuff makes me worry a tad. Hope they are all ok...

You must be about 3 hours north of me. I am in Hesperia CA. Or Hysteria. Whatever works.
