Mary, because of you, I do feel truly blessed to have these BEAUTIFUL Icelandics I got a little bit of everything, dark brown, light brown, white, black, silver chipmunk, light chipmunk, dark chipmunk, mottled, small, large, crested, non-crested... haven't seen any feathers on any feet yet, but I imagine I'll find some. We named one of the silver chipmunks, "Cleopatra"... the name truly fits.
I am sharing a few of my chicks with some good neighbors down the street. I'll be having them register on BYC and direct them to the Icelandic thread. They are coming tomorrow afternoon to pick them up and they are so excited. I'll give them a couple of my EEs, so they'll probably only get 6-8 Icelandics. So I figure I'll be able to add a roo and at least 10 girls to my mini flock of Vindur and his two blonde girls. The most beautiful roo will get to stay and work things out with Vindur.

I have been so blessed by ALL OF YOU this hatch.
I imagine if we have a good year this year, I'll bite the bullet and buy a sportsman or a dickey, or I'll try and figure out how to fix my two bators.
As for the internal pips, they weren't wet or drowned, they weren't too dry... I don't know what the problem was. There were a couple (maybe two) from the
Brinsea that didn't have a lot of air space so I probably should have kept the humidity a bit lower in there. In the Hovabator, I had one entire "row" where not one of them hatched. WEIRD.
Don't know if I'll ever get this hatching thing figured out, but on Halloween we'll start the 3rd Annual NYD hatch thread...
