Tyler (27 yr old son that lives in our guest house) has always been a big baby. Always. So, when he moans and groans and complains about aches and pains, I rarely pay much attention. This morning he said he was up half the night with nausea and pain in the back (kidney area). 'Hmmm,' I thought.... Later, he ran some errands for me. Then, at about 4:30, he screamed through the intercom to me. "HELP ME! ! !" I went to check on him and he was very very pale, holding his side, and moaning in obviously tremendous pain. Taylor (his girlfriend) took him to the ER. He just got home. Kidney stone. Yowser! That's gonna hurt. They told him it was quite large and still pretty high up. It will be another day or so before he can pass it. THAT is gonna hurt.

Oh, wow - ouch is right!
Mike went to the store the other day, and I told him to pick up some Zest (bar soap). Then why, when I got in the shower, was there Dial soap in my shower? I always buy Zest. For nearly 40 years we have used Zest. Why did he buy Dial? I asked him, when I talked to him on the phone last night. He thinks he's real funny. I don't. He bought Zest also. It was "hiding," in a soap container in the towel closet. Funny? I don't think so.

That sounds like time for some revenge to be plotted...

I want a vacation. Thing is, I don't want to leave here. I just want everyone else to leave! I want a housekeeper, too. I'm gonna get one, too.

I don't have a final head count. I was hoping something would hatch still but I figure the rest are gonners. I'll candle later to make sure. I also had humidity issues. The bator that most of them hatched in was so wet i'm sure thats why I only got 5 quail and I had to cull 2 of those. I don't suppose those 2 would count, but i'm sure it won't help my hatch rate anyway. I set 175 eggs and got about 30 chicks. I'll post pics soon. I have the camera out and about to do it now.

hi everyone i have a question what do i do about reporting how many i hatch if i still ahve some hatching on the 11th 73 eggs went to lock down all alive and moving an hr before lockdown 1 piped and died in egg i have 36 as of this morning that is out of eggs with 36 more eggs to go and about half still has pips with chicks moving in the eggs 8 that are due today and tomorrow and the rest are wiggling.

Just report what you have on the 11th before midnight turning it to the 12th.

Well, I have been away, but I wanted to pop in and say I hatched some chicks! I set 45 and I got 26 adorable fluffy butts!

Only 4 after first candle didn't hatch. Not too bad! Especially since 1/2 were shipped! I got 16 chicks out of 22 shipped eggs! 12 of mine special eggs were clears. (?)

Kathy, Arielle and all you men on this thread... The best Christmas Gift my husband ever gave me was a weekly housekeeper! Works for Birthdays, Anniversary's, Valentines day, Mothers day, Presidents day, Memorial Day, Labor Day or anyother holiday too!
