Goodness!... no one has wanted "IN" in 12 hours.

This group is not at chatty as last years.

At this point last year, we already had 415 posts.

Is it the new format?

Can't imagine it would be that.

Are there less folks out there who want to incubate?

I REALLY can't imagine that.

Is it because they don't realize that this hatch will eventually have way more cool prizes!?

Probably.

More prizes for the rest of us, if they don't show up.

I think it may be partly the new format but I think others are still in the middle of the Ground Hog Day and Valentine's Day hatches. Once those are done, they'll be over here chatting!!

Well looks like I'm gonna do some back-to-back hatching this winter/spring. Got a big batch due Valentine's day, going to set another batch just a few days before it is due, then gonna set another shortly after that, then another for the Easter hatch.

'Tis the season. . . . For hatching!

On the one hand I am sooo much more productive when I'm not getting instant BYC view alerts in my email to tempt me... on the other hand, my life is boring and sad without them.

Had some "Rooster Buffalo Wings" yesterday - totally delicious. Too bad there's no way to only hatch roos.

You want ROOS??? I can hatch you roos! I averaged 10 roos to 1 hen last year, this years first batch of 'layer' chicks is looking very roo heavy too. :/

Good morning Mahonri, I think that people might not be joining because there isn't that list of most current posts on the main page like there used to be? At least I don't know where that list is any more.
I think I fixed the email problem I was having. I unsubscribed to the thread then resubscribed and I got an email the next time someone posted. I don't know if it is going to keep working but it did yesterday.

Yes, I want roos. I am ruing (pun intended) the day I sold my NYD hatch chicks.

I have ONE extra rooster from the 7 I kept.

That is not going to feed me. Good thing I have the Valentines Day Hatch and now the Easter Hatch.

I wish you were closer, I'd give you almost all the roos I get for free. I sold 10 of my NYD hatch - 6 of those were probably roos.. I see one roo coming out so far from those that I kept and I am sure there will be more. I am good at hatching boys!

If you are setting emu eggs, you have + or - 5 days to setting!
