I wondered when you said she was at 3cm and already at the hospital! They couldn't get me to go til it was almost too late! Sorry, but who goes in that early?

Snowing again. Wishing I could think about planting all these beautiful seeds I have sitting here... just waiting...

I spent the last 3 1/2 weeks of my 42 1/2 week pregnancy at 3cm. I was 7 when I got to the hospital, and only because the hospital was an hour away.

How beautiful!! How is your GD around your chickens? I've always wanted one of those beautiful dogs, but I'm defianetly going to have to wait till the kids are much older. Then I can turn my GD into one of my kids. ;-)

Thank you. I wouldn't trust her completely, because she likes to play. Mostly she runs up to the chicken house and bounces up to the wire. After that she loses interest in them. She's more interested in our alpacas, I think because they are close to her own size.

She is a huge couch potato, if I'm already sitting on it, she just climbs into my lap. I always tell my husband he'll come home someday and find me crushed. They'll be calling in CSI to figure out what killed me.

I think he's starting to understand it. You probably gave him a similar look that I gave my boyfriend when he saw le fleche and asked why we didn't have any of those.



Got the run shoveled out but unfortunately it's still snowing. I'll probably have to do it again tomorrow after work, but the foot+ of snow that fell is mostly taken care of. It's ok, I just hope my onions can stay inside until May!

33 inch redfish - released because she was too big (slot for redfish here is 18-27")

But I do have 5 dozen eggs due for the hatch right when I come back - so there is something to look foreward to besides the weather.

Oh yes, I REALLY need a vacation at the beach. A wave grabbed me and pulled me out. I think I am gonna stay awhile, the kids are on shore with their dad.

Today, I got to make a chicken trade with Renée (Chooks Chick)!

Kathy's son was the deliveryman for the trade yesterday- she sent me two Godzilla-sized 100% English Orp roos and a half-dozen eggs for me. What a fabulous lady, right???

Yes she is!!! And her Orps are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!

Well, I have the day off, so I'm going to attempt to post photos of my first entry for the egg art contest, called "Let Me Count the Ways". Sequential numbers 1 through 556, separated by commas:
