I am a nervous wreck with those emu eggs! One, for sure, wiggles ALOT. The other, I am still not sure about. I guess I could see a pip any day now...... Is it a pip? A crack, anyway!

Well, the bator is up and running. I have a few days to get the temp regulated but as of now it is all over the place. If anyone knows any tricks, I'm open to advice. It is a stryo Hovabator with a fan and a wafer thermostat. Are the wafers supposed to be warped?

We had a young dog show up at our house tonight, I hate it when people put dogs out. I have to do something with it asap. Noone will be home tomorrow and the chickens free range. Anybody want a puppy? He looks to be around 4 or 5 months old.

I wish I could take it since Montgomery really isn't that far from Buhl. (to me it isn't anyway) Dad said 4 months is too old for us.

There is no pleasing him.

Thank you for your help. I am so nervous with my "practice" hatch. full bator, most of them I cant see in. Can see dark bigger section in some, but still not as large as I thought they would be. No movement when I candled tonight. I only candled 3 times this hatch 7 day, 14 and tonight, but I can only really candle 4 out of a full turner. Ughhhhhh please let something hatch so I do not feel a complete failure at this. Especially since I just ordered Icelandics for the Easter hatch. (you enablers keep turning me on to more breeds...I also want some isbars now too...oh and mille fluer leghorns...theres a new one! eeekssssssssss what will my husband say when I tell him I need more breeding pens!) That is if I can get anything to hatch...hohum...Im a mess.
