How do you make your saddles, Arielle? I ordered a few, but now I need one more and don't want to spend the $. What do you use for straps? I don't think I have any elastic. Maybe I can cut something up....![]()
I have hatched call ducks in my MiniAdvance EX. I have also hatched Jersery Giant chicken eggs, really large ones, in it. Duck eggs will fit. I highly recommend the MiniAdvance EX models for small quantities of eggs.I was asked a question via email about the Brinsea Mini Advance EX and Duck Eggs.
I don't have experience with this so thought I would ask here since some on this thread hatch Ducks:
Thank you so much for the advice and the coupon code Ron, I really appriciate it. I'm seriously considering the mini advanve ex model. Im just a little worried about the size capacity. would you or anyone else know if I could fit a 3 inch long chunky duck egg in to something like that? How does it automatically turn the eggs?
Thanks for helping![]()
Kathy, how's it going?
Bucka... I use long acting horse spray every time I clean the coop and nesting boxes - spray it in the crevices around the roost, on the floor/wall crevices and in the nesting boxes - I think it's called EX Shield.
I'd like to think that it helps.
Ditto.I could never hatch emus, since just looking at photos of Kathy's hatch has me holding my breath!
