I hand turn all of my eggs. I usually try to turn them 3 times a day. Odd numbers are better but I do know of people turning 2 times a day with similar results.

Chookschicks/Renee... Kansas grab bag... ON IT'S WAY! I still have a beautiful FBCM in my flock that I hatched from her eggs last Easter and multiple babies from that girl that will continue to bless my flock. Can you say, "QUALITY BREEDER!" (Boston's flock of FBCMs are mostly from her stock with a bishop's chickens roo)
WhiteMountainRanch... 11 BW Ameraucanas on their way from San Dieggo... the BW roo is out of my Geoffrey that I bought from Jean Ribbeck and he is gorgeous.
Peachick........ W/BW Ameraucanas on their way and she threw in some Blue/Black Sumatras!! Kathy rocks and I've hatched some awesome ameraucanas from her eggs in the past. I've always had excellent fertility with her eggs and those am. eggs are the bluest. This will be the third or fourth time that I've hatched her eggs. Everyone that has bought birds from me that hatched from her eggs have always THANKED ME!

and she's marked which eggs are coming from which roos! Her roo Drekki is probably one of the most gorgeous Icelandic roos I've ever laid eyes on.

no eggs have arrived yet, but I'm imagining most will come tomorrow.

By Sunday, fill out the participation form, tell us how many eggs you are setting. By then I will have placed at the bottom of post one EXACTLY what I have set with the number of each breed set so you can make your guess as to how many I'll hatch and the first three breeds out.
By the 24th, Laree should have a link ready to go to guess how many chicks we'll all hatch from the Easter hatch.

Remember, once Easter has arrived, you'll need to report how many chicks we hatched so we can do that talley and figure out who wins the incubator. Because I'm hosting, I'm taking myself out of the contest, but I would certainly love to win a Brinsea Mini Advance!!!

I, for one, would pay exorbitant prices for Mahonri chickens. I would hope I wouldn't HAVE to, but I would if necessary.

Mahonri, It's a good thing Dreki can't read or his ego would be out of control!!! Thank you for such a wonderful compliment....The Sheriff gets all the credit for providing me with such a great starter flock!!

I hope all 16 eggs I sent arrive safely!

Hmmm......"Mahonri's"...........you'll have to move to a place that will let you have roosters first!!

After that, you'll have peeps lined up for them!!

Turns out, I received two shipments of eggs that are both being replaced due to shipping issues. Now the replacement eggs will not be here until next Wednesday.

On another note though, I may have to post tetris pics by the weekend, I have two bators (LG and one similar) and due to an abundance of extras (someone actually sent me 2 dozen extras, putting me at 48 instead of 24) and then replacements because of crushed boxes (of which some were salvageable), I am looking at bator space for 100 if I'm lucky but closer to 175 eggs. HELP
