I swear every time I see Emu, I think just buy some land and stick a tent on it. As long as the animals are covered, it's all good.

I would go for 4 but DH says NO WAY 10 would be out of the question

Why? We have 12! LOL...the>>>His, mine, and ours thing. It was tough at first, but it's great now. The kids all consider each other brother and sister, and I am not the wicked witch of the west anymore. His kids tell me they are happy I came along when I did. They tell me they love me.

We all get along really well..only have one left at home, that would be the "ours." He will be gone by the end of the year. Can't believe I had him at my age, but glad I did. Finally getting that empty nest syndrome with having 32 grandchildren between us.

Love the color!! And nice markings too!! Glad they didn't get into the chicken feed, though if it's unmedicated it's probably safe for a meal or two. I keep looking at pinto colored warmbloods. It's spring again . . . . breeding season has arrived.

I know what you mean. The three year old isn't a baby any more. Love the babies! I would love to breed my 4 year old to a homozygous tobiano walker/SSH but I only have 5 stalls and I have 5 horses (planned it that way, some days I am greatful I did and some days I wish I had built a bigger barn!)

Lets make sure we have a calendar! Get pictures in. A lot of you have cool pictures of your chickens outside in spring, summer ,and fall + winter. Also looks like some nice Mother day pictures with hen and chicks. Some of those you might have that can be put in spring months or summer months
If we could put in more pictures then 3 I may be able to come up with some more. Living in AZ doesn't help with seasonal pictures tho.

I REALLY want to focus on the holiday theme, rather than just random chick-chicken pictures. I have to keep it limited to 3 photos each. I do hope I can get at least one picture for each month!....
