I'm still in, but will probably be my own eggs. Broke my arm at the wrist and I was working on getting my hoop coops up so I could separate breeds. Yeah, that ain't happenin too soo, so although I do have some separated, I'll be hatching a bunch of EE's and OEs probably. Hoping my Sliver Phoenix and Sumatras give me something to hatch. I have at least 1 SPPR laying, so might have a few of those, but this bites!

Sorry to hear that. I'll pray for a quick recovery, though I know bones take a few weeks to knit.

Always gotta be somethin with me. I should be getting a hard cast next week and sure hope it's a shorter one. I'm casted from fingers to passed the elbow right now. Hopefully then I'll be able to get back to the hoops. I could have been done by now.

I'm real sorry to hear about your broken arm. I hope it heals quickly.

Beth, Maybe he thought you wouldn't hatch that many!! Did you keep them or were they to sell?

I agree that getting only 1 wouldn't make it worth your effort/time/cost to hatch them unless the amount of eggs was quite large and you knew the fertility was good. Is this from someone local to you?

I sold a bunch and kept 15.

Thanks guys. I had to start collecting for a 24hr auction all over again. Broke it the day before I was supposed to ship. I'm having another BYCer wrap the next collection for me so I can get them shipped. Nice to have an understanding buyer.

My elbow is bent, but I just can't get it to turn right to get anything done. Hardest thing though with the animals is water dishes for the dogs and the waterers for the chicks in the brooders. I've bumped the bottoms off twice and all I could do was grab single hands of wood shavings and hope I could get to the brooders without dropping it all on the way. What a pain.

The doc in the ER that set it say "The older we get, the longer it takes to heal."
