I think i am in as long as i can scare up some eggs!

How are those duck eggs doing ?

out of .the 8 i put in my bator it looks like 7 are developing, i think i saw a heart or an eye last night when i candled. the 8th had a dent crack in it and it didn't look like it was doing anything and i was scared it would explode and stink bomb my bator so i threw it out last night.
but they have company from 24 duck eggs and 3 goose eggs i accidently won

. i am trying to see if a couple people on the buy sell auction would let me buy now and get them delivered around mid march to set them, i don't think i will have time to do ducks again after i get these guys out (later ducks and goosies got set 2/9)

....In the meantime, my husband is going to fix all the stuff this guy broke, re-install the gates and operators, and repair a wall Dumbace busted for free. When the Registrar of contractors sues Dumbace, DH will get reimbursed.

Might be hard to collect if he is in jail!!!! lol

Glad to hear that.... I am sure you can get eggs shipped at a later date.... I have many times.
There is also a monthly swap that will coordinate with this hatch.

i would love to join the swap but at the moment i don't think i have anything to swap, i have one female )duck) that should start laying this spring, but the other 2 ran off and my chicken started laying for abou 2 weeks in november and now are on strike

if everything goes well i will hopefully be able to do it next year : )
