Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Those commutes would kill me. I am so spoiled, 20+ years with a nine mile, country road commute. 15 minutes!

Deb

I used to have a shorter drive to work before we had to move up to Utah. Now we live about as close as you can live (give or take about 5 miles) without living on the other side of a mountain pass and nowhere near a grocery store. I miss my shorter commute but there really wasn't a choice on where to live. At least we have a few acres and it is quiet.

So, Deb, what eggs do YOU have to share? Or are you already in mheinz's egg swap for The Easter Hatch?

All I have are gorgeous mutt eggs. But I have $$ to pay for something different or to get more of some breeds into my flock... And it would be an excuse to meet!

I live in Moran township, which also contains the town of Brevort. And to the north of here is the town of Moran, in Brevort township

. In addition, my road is called Old Portage Trail, and the next road over Portage Road - they were renamed a few years ago from Old Portage road and South Portage road to make them easier to tell apart (??). Our county has not maybe the most brightest of folks.

I succumbed to temptation and reserved some frizzle bantam cochin eggs - but I may squeeze a few more in if I can find some Brown Reds (very difficult to track down).

Maine's not very unique when it comes to city names...

I almost bought a house in China... when I told my dad I put an offer on a house in China he flipped. He said Maine was far enough away!

Oh, that's funny. Are the folks living in Peru called Peruvians? Those in Denmark ... Danish? Those in Naples ... Neopolitans? What about those in Mexico?

You were almost Chinese.

Miscomminication so I haven't left for the hospital yet. My ride won't be here till around 3, so thought I'd better mark my spot again.

Kathy! I have Wellies, what else do I need for those birds. I want those!

At least they named them after other countries.....around here we have the towns of Oregon, Wyoming and Ohio! You have to end a sentence with "the state" if you ARE NOT talking about the town!
