Is the dinner "all-inclusive"........meaning air fare!

A trip down to 85 degrees sounds wonderful..........but I got eggs in the Farm Master that have to be turned.........and my DH isn't going to do that for me while I'm jetting to AZ for turkey dinner!!

Wish I lived closer!!! I don't mind volunterering--just can't do the deed.

weeks from today at noon your local time, we will set chickens eggs!! You no longer have time to start a hatch...unless they're button or coturnix quail or maybe some breeds of the smallest bantams! Muscovy duck eggs will be set next week, March 3rd. It won't be long now...........

Maybe it's a good thing my muscovies aren't laying yet; I did tell DH I wouldn't be hatching the duck eggs!

I do love California, but I would definitely miss the seasons. My only complaint about the Maine climate is blackflies! Although there seem to be less as the climate warms.

California has seasons! It all depends on where you live. If you want permanent spring you live on the coast. If you like summer you live in the valley and if you want all of the seasons in one year you live in the foothills on up to the mountains - depending on how much snow you want to shovel. This is one of the few places you can surf the waves and ski the slopes in one day. But if you do come, you need to bring your own source of income and lots of tax repellant.


and dsqard, I hear ya' on the Stockton thingy. When we lived in Utah, the first time I heard Stockton mentioned on the news there I was trying to figure out why they were talking about some small happening which occurred in Stockton, California.
