hmmmm I had more to comment on but my pea sized brain can't remember.

It might be the 2 Serama & 2 Americauna chicks that just hatch peeping up a storm.

Today I am hoping for Frizzles & Silkies & 1 more Amer.

Yesterday we went to tractor supply they had a bin of unmarked chicks. They were feather footed and polish. They seem like bantams to me. I got 2 silver Polish, 1silver, 1white, 1 buff with black spots that I think my be Brahma. I'll post some pix later today.

I'm going back to watch the hatching channel

days until we set chicken eggs! Tomorrow is the day for those of you setting Muscovy eggs!! Setting time is 12 o'clock (noon) your local time.

We are very close to breaking the participant record from last year......I'm sure we'll make it since we have two more weeks to get more peeps to join!! If you are hatching within a few days before or after us.....join in....not all of the eggs will hatch exactly at noon on the 21st day (adjust days to type of egg set). We need numbers of chicks hatched reported back in to be counted in the total! It won't be long now!!

Good Morning Hatchers, A few things dawned on my this morning once I looked up the date of the one Class A horse show of the year I go to with my Arabian stallion and it is, of course, Easter Weekend. Add that to the fact my birthday is the 7th and it is one of the mile stone birthdays--50-- half a century young and hatch day. Busy, busy weekend. Fortunatly the show is only 20 minutes away from me so I can at least see some of the action.

You're gonna love the turkeys! I hatched my first bunch last year and had a blast with them. If you can throw in some chicken eggs a week later, the poults seem do do better with chicks to show them where the food and water is. WELCOME to the hatch!
