I don't watch tv, I don't listen to the news or read the paper. And I don't have the weather app on my ipad. When I want a weather report I just look out the window.




I'm guessing double digits, maybe 15 or 18 above, with about 3 " of new snow and it's still coming down. I guess I'll be playing with the plow again tonight.

Java girl I have two questions for you. 1 - What happened to FIVE? 2 - What kind of turkey is brooding those chicks? She is pretty

what did happen to 5??? I HAVE NO IDEA?????????????? umm yes I do LOL, you all DID NOT PRAY HARD ENOUGH FOR ME!!! LOL!!!! AND for that price it's cheaper to buy and raise them then to try to hatch out what we need for meat. because I have a hard time trying to hatch out birds for meat, so this will help me get a Head start. BTU, we need 60- 70 birds for meat birds. she is a Narragansett turkey named rose

I got her last year in the fall with her two other sisters and a tom. rose is the most friendlies hen of the 3 hens. I was ssoo not happy when rose went broody because I was gong to get the eggs from her to hatch out and she had other plans

so I tried everything to break her up to no end, the book on turkeys said the if you move turkey hens they will break up so I kept moving her around and she LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!

So I said to her " fine if you want to go broody, go broody!!! " she went broody in Jan and the first eggs did hatch but she stepped on one and the other one died, so she went broody again!!!!!!!!! and she was getting mad this week because she still did not have chicks because the eggs where no good, so I told my mom " I need to get chicks somewhere and fast!!!!!! " then I found out from the NY bycers the the TSC was trying to get rid of some of the chicks because they are to old!!!! when I got there they had just bought in the new shipment of chicks and that's what you see under her!!!!

I'm sooooooooooo glad I have nothing of that kind in my yard. I really don't mind snow, because if it has to be freaking cold it may as well be pretty...and I love driving in it. BUT I can't stand cold. My aversion to it is compounded by having Raynaud's Syndrome, and it HURTS me. SO...you folks can keep it and I'll keep my 100*+ summer days and pterodactyl mosquitoes. We never even got a whole inch of snow this year. Last year we had 60", so it's a bit weird. I'm not complaining!!

This is our forecast. It's 65* right now with 30+mph winds...45mph gusts.



I expect the weather may get rough when the front moves in tonight...weather radio gets left on for tornado warnings, but it's still better than snow!

We have that Low Pressure coming in over us from the NW Pacific... I imagine you probably have a high pressure inversion up there. Got any fog this morning?

Hi Mahonri,

I am in California too. We don't get fog in the valley when it is windy or it is raining. The rain and no wind will lead to Tulley fog later. The coastal fog happens in the summer, but that does not get to the valley. It usually stops here before Vacaville.

Enjoy the weather. Oh, I am pretty sure that if you can jbweld a valve you can buy a replacement from Home Depot and install it your self
