Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

I do have some pretty significant 2nd degree burns on my lower left abdomen and upper left thigh. It's pretty painful and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.
There are other unmentionable areas that are extremely painful and all I can do is pray.
It sounds serious, and I sincerely hope that you obtain the medicine that everyone has been recommending. I think you have received a lot of expert advice proffered with love. Also, drink a lot of water. You can lose a lot of fluid with a bad burn.

And finally, whats a basque chicken? I googled it and this is what I found.
I think you've found out by now, but for anyone else who is interested, the Basque Hen is a dual-purpose chicken from the Basque region of Spain. In Basque, they are called Euskal Oiloa, which literally means "Basque Hen." A lot of us call them EOs, but I think "Basque Hen" is a more accessible name. The "Hen" seems misleading, but it is intended in the same way as "Swedish Flower Hen." Some of us who are into the breed are also interested in understanding more about their history and the culture from which they arose. If you are interested in the Basque country, history, and history of the breed, you can check out the Euskal Oiloa link in my signature.
Also got my Euskal Oiloa (basque) eggs in, he was short one egg - not surprising considering the number of people who wanted them for this hatch! - so he included 6 partidge bantam cochins. Still waiting for about 3 more dozen eggs, so eggciting!
Good news

My EO Basque Hen eggs are almost here!

Ron

I received 25 EO eggs from James this morning. He is very responsive to customers.
Congratulations, everyone! I just set mine this evening at 6:40!

I wonder what happened to my eggs? Shipped from James on Monday, and the tracking stops with Chattanooga, 10 p.m. Monday night. Today was the expected delivery date, but they are not here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Yeah, mine was detoured through Pennsylvania and arrived on the 4th day after it shipped.

Air cells are mostly good, but not great, so I rested them for 24 hours and am not turning on the turner until Saturday or Sunday. I hope yours arrive soon.

Well, DD took it very well. Amazingly as I was walking in here I got distracted and walked out on the back porch to find the missing rabbit hopping toward me. Diesel has come home from out of the woods. YAY

We are sad to lose Rex but I am relieved to know that Diesel is safe and sound.
I'm glad one of your bunnies came back, and I am sorry you lost the other.

for you and your DD.

So sorry about your hatch, wolftracks! You must be so frustrated. I've only hatched twice before, and my first hatch only 1 of 20 hatched, and then the chick died, so I know it can be heart-breaking.

I'm going to wait one more day for my eggs from James to arrive, ronott, before I e-mail him. I'm sure it is out of his control, so I doubt there is anything he can do.
