Ugh you all make me wish I was hatching more eggs, more of a varitey if different chickens.....

Oh my goodness. So after seeing how many eggs everyone is setting, I think we are definately going to break a world record on the number of eggs set! I am sure hatcheries dont set this many eggs in a day! Wowser!

I did get my eggs from Wolftracks today! YAY! And your egg project to get lavender eggs...they really are lavender. I tried to get a picture but it just doesn't capture it. How many people can say they have purple eggs!

Now if I can just get them hatch!!!

My icelandics have been stuck on the east coast for 2 days, has moved from one sorting facility to another....that is not boding well.

BUT............all is not lost, cause just when you're full of disappointment a missing project pullet shows up with these!!!!



She brought home 8 and I grabbed 7 and left her one. She's not a happy momma but last year too many chicks disappeared.

BTW she was next door, no other hens can get there but one and I see 4 baby daddys in this hatch!

Got another order of eggs in today. I am up to 67 eggs and counting.... (still expecting at least 54 more eggs plus extras)

That's a lot of eggs!

Such fun to live vicariously through everyone else's hatches as well!
