Ok, I'm a little late to the draw since I had to go to the parts place with my brother. I have my half of the eggs set and my neighbor is bringing his 2 dozen over later today/tonight.

So, as of now I have:
12 pure RIR
12 BA/RIR

I've been rushing around since I woke up a little over an hour ago.

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!! I'll have some crazy pics up later of what I do every year.

I think I will have an auction for ALL the eggs I gather here for the next 3 or 4 days. Otherwise, I am just gonna eat them.

Eat them? People eat eggs? Never thought of that!

Well miracle egg has been properly sterilized and waxed. We will see how it goes. When I set mine (AT THE CORRECT TIME, MAHONRI) I will put it in front for all to see what I have done to this poor egg.

Thank goodness I tried my hand at batik years ago. We don't have any birthday candles around anymore since all the kids are out the house and really, who wants to see that many candles on a cake.

i have 2 hova bators i have hatched several times before in them and had good hatches i have the thermomiter that came with it and i just bought 2 new digitals that are in there as well they are saying 97 degrees and refuse to go higher the plugs are in. i hope it will go up soon. husband has left to go buy me another thermomiter to go in it

Countrygirl, the only way to get an accurate temp is to use a thermometer that has been calibrated. visit this link

If you can't immerse yours in water, get an inexpensive cooking thermometer, check the accuracy of that, then compare your thermometers to it. You could have 5 thermometers and they could all be wrong.

I got the Eco 20 warmed up and ready I think, but
I need help with the stacking of eggs in it.
Any help on that would be super.

... shucks I've only had mine set for 20 minutes... plus or minus an hour... and besides I'm in EAST Phoenix.
