150 some odd posts today. NOT EASY to catch up... only had 1 patient today that didn't show and none cancelled. I'm really tired. Got 9 eggs today.

I must have hatching on the brain.
Wisher, my boss tore his rotator cuff last winter skiing (we have the wipe out on video, it is quite spectacular

) He had the surgery and then did the PT last spring. This winter he was able to ski again with no problems at all. I would highly suggest the PT.
My presentation went very well yesterday. Now one more presentation and I should have my certification.
Whispers to Cayuse - I thought the same thing when I saw that Mahonri candled yesterday! He just couldn't take the pressure anymore! All the COOL kids were candling already

Not all is standing here! Hoop house # 1 took off yesterday. It didn't go far, now it is staked. Hoop house #2 took off last night. It was already staked, so it looks a little bent up. DH is out there now assessing damage. I am glad we are learning these lessons now, before we have a hoop house full of chickens!

Haven't gone out to do my chicken chores yet. Thankfully it's not a work day, so they can chill (literally) until it's full daylight. Will go out in about a half hour and see what's up, but I think my coops are still standing. The wind was really whipping around last night!

Cold here today, about 22F. I think it's just today, tho. Hopefully it kills all the insects that had popped up during our weird 80F march heat!

I peeked at my 'questionables' today and pulled my clears. 6 eggs out, all the rest still in. I forget how many that is LOL. (ok, it's 42 left now that I checked the list). Yowsa.

got very little sleep last night. just laid in bed awake. big surprise. Can't believe I had so many clears... today will be super busy... I can't imagine how many posts I'll be reading tonight when everything is done.

I candled my eggs. Of the shipped, two were quitters, and mine that I added, one clear. So I am now from 18 to 15.
The other eggs were very veiny and bouncing around inside those eggs though! Little embryo party goin' on.

Are we almost there, yet? The weather here isnt as bad as it sounds for you all...but I worry about power outages. Good luck everyone.
