They sell huge (55?) gallon totes at Walmart that work great for temporary brooders. Long and blue. I have all mine in there for now. I will seperate them out in a day or so.

Oh, yes, Mahonri, you are right ... you will need more waterers. I have 4 waterers an 4 feeders in my 6' x 8' brooder, with 42 chicks. They use them all. I am always afraid one will get pushed away from them, by the ones establishing early pecking order.

I am so happy for you! It has been great entertainment, sitting here watching!
