Love the way your flock is carefully walking on the part with no snow. When I had dogs, I could easily corral them by shoveling only certain places. They never stepped out of them - wimpy dogs. Of course we had deep snow and they were small dogs. I try to avoid walking in snow too.

And, I prefer to walk on snow, b/c what's not snow is ice.

Don't mind walking in snow....as long as it's not the "deadly yellow snow!"

got that too. Sometimes the only traction on the ice is the brown logs. That's why I prefer the snow.
