Is anyone going to be selling some female chicks in the next 2-3 weeks ? I'm looking for at least 1 Marans or Welsummer, and the rest some type of dual purpose. I'd rather get them local than at from a store.

Hoppy, if you have any males at that time, I would love to get one. Your birds are always wonderful !

in 4 weeks, that will put us just about the time of the first augusta swap if this darn snow goes away (who ordered this??? I was so ready for spring to happen)

most of my chicks this yr will be sexed females that i sell at the swaps. any extra males I won't be growing out to give away like I did last yr. can't do that with the cost of feed.
I do have a beautiful barred wyandotte x orp pullet 9 weeks old (huge for her age)and a barred wyandotte boy to go with her

or a solid black orp boy (or Im sure I could find some other little boy)

Hello Kinsey,

I could have chicks in 3-4 weeks (could incubate). All would be BO or BO X (which are GREAT dual purposes). I have a BO roosters over BO, Wyandotte (silver and golden), and one Golden Comet (sexlink) hen/s. But if you didn't want the Sexlink cross chicks I could weed out her eggs (they are distinctly different). Although, if I incubated I cannot guarantee the sex or amount of birds. How many did you want? Also, I could easily get EE eggs from a friend to incubate, if you wanted those. They would be Americauna X (which would turn out EE's) I believe that she has New Hampshire red, Barred rock, and Jersey Giant hens... But don't quote me on that. All I know is that they would definitely be EE's. Let me know what you think.

ETA: I believe that Chesterville is only about a 1/2 hour from me...
