thanks all for the well wishes. I am feeling a bit better. I have an appt with a specialist next week and I'm at least able to go see the birds. that part makes me happy just being out with them but it's so tiring getting from the house to coop. thankfully the kids are really pitching in and looks like I may have someone that will buy a few of my extras- those extra roos may have a different problem.

I saw on another thread that there was another chicken swap at Tractor Supply in Augusta on 9/5. Anyone else hear that? I'm looking for a few pullets or hens- wouldn't you know that out of my four chicks only one was a girl. I have a beautiful young black bantam cochin roo that I would be willing to give away to the right person. PM me if you are interested.

I am trying to downsize also....since a predator took half my hens and dh is deployed I really don't want to deal with it now....
I have some d'Anvers, ameraucana, and a mix of some younger birds...range in age of 8-12 weeks.....will give most away for free if you just take em
