Watercolor by Burntumber, painting of her Halfinger mare Maid. She also had the silkies and showgirls at ChickenStock. Won by my friend in the overalls, that couldn't put enough tickets in the bag. She was ready to offer money to the winner.

lol, that is funny. i should have thought about that with the basket i wanted, anyone know who put that basket together that the gentleman won?

She has done custom painting of animal friends in the past, they were beautiful and very reasonably priced. Never know, anyone could ask her if they are interested.

The larger basket was made by my sister-in-law, wonderful wasn't it! The other basket that had pickled eggs (my eggs) but Donna's basket that went to the Grindles? correct me!

I knew it was burntumber- duh. OMG you know, I never used to be this bad, forgive me please. I am on some medications that I am still not completely used to for my arthritis. Anyways, great watercolor, just a great buncha stuff and people.

LOL! Don't worry about it, Spook!

Thanks for the nice comps on the Haflinger painting, guys. *blush* I had actually wanted to bring one of a chicken but thought of it like three days before the gathering and never found the time to come up with one. So I grabbed what I had sitting on the easel and matted it as I ate my bowl of cereal before heading out the door.

I did just do a funny painting of our young Pekin ducks which I thought would've been perfect and was kicking myself b/c I'd already listed it for sale.

I'll gladly do a chicken painting or two for the next benefit raffle if that's what people want!

Any suggestions on what breed(s)???

I'm thrilled Debi won that painting of Maid. If she didn't I was prepared to do second one just for her! LOL!

I was impressed with all of the stuff on the auction table. There was so much! Some of the things I'd overlooked- like the bird feeders. The baskets were amazing. I choked back tears when I didn't win that ADORABLE wool scarf with the little white sheep! And then I was totally consoled when I won Verthandi's large rooster tote.

It was a real emotional rollercoaster, that auction! LOL!

Yup I got the smaller basket with the ckicken and egg buttons on the front - with the pickled eggs - I just love the basket - it is so cute. Made by the lady selling baskets there (I have her card).

If anyone wants phone numbers from the dream catcher ladies (I did not invite them but can get info on them), the crystal and jewelry family or Donna that had the baskets that was there, and the larger basket was my sisterinlaw. Let me know and I am most certain they would love to hear from you all. Oh, and Sheila that was going to do readings or reiki for animal or human would not mind hearing from you also.
Frozen Feathers, don't even go there, you are great and to those of us that know you, we do not care what you look like. Take me for instance, I am who I am, want to change but it doesnt look like it'll happen anytime soon.
I made the pickled eggs! It was fun now that I have recouperated from that busy day.
Take care all!
