If you got her at a shelter, she isn't purebred. But still as gorgeous!! I adopted a cat from a shelter, it is a pain. Give me a sec to find a picture of an MC so we can compare.

It's actually possible to get purebreds from shelters.

It's also possible that yours is an American Maine coon. That is a picture of a European Maine coon. The American MC's features are less defined. Lemme find an article.
