Maine Swaps 2011

Quote:
it is a show and a swap. in order to sell at this swap, you must be a club member or have a bird entered in the show and pay a sellers fee. there should be alot of high quality birds at this swap/show for sale.
there is a thread for this swap.
I'll find it and post it here.

Just letting everyone know I will be bringing handmade bags to the lewiston/skowhegan swaps in a few weeks. Different sizes and prints. Prices starting at $5.00. Know I will be bringing some potted plants, seedlings, dried and fresh herbs, maybe some soap, ornaments, herb infused cooking oil and blown egg decorations. All herbs and plants are organically grown. Should be bringing ducklings and chicks and maybe a bunny or 2. Also if anyone wants any hatching eggs I can bring some. I'll update my list more when I see what plants/animals/fuzzies available

there have been some swaps at the Maine potato growers building in houlton, I think nursenettie is posting those but I have not seen her on this thread at all.

I'm going. I'll have:
8 week old females: brown egg laying mixes
8 week old male: olive egger
14ish week old roosters: white leghorn (who is so sweet), marans cross and some feathered legged/crested freakshow

I also currently have 1 week old(ish) baby turkens (which will lay an olive green or brown egg, depending on cross) and regular feathered olive eggers for sale. I am pretty sure I'm not bringing them to the swap, but I'm very near Augusta if anyone is interested in meeting me somewhere to get them.

Pictures of two of the turkens today:

Does anyone have a 9-10 week old pullet that they would sell me...I have a poor lonely cockerel that is so super lonely... poor bugger. I take him out to see the big girls but they want to eat him up and spit him out! He grew up with the D'uccle (bantams) and he is 1/2 standard cochin that is in love with the girls and wants to play house.... so he is a bit twacked!

thank you all for your nice comments on my carved eggs. now please come over to this thread and vote so I can win (if you think mine is the best). I am running a tight 4th
