You might want to take this ? to the "other pets and livestock" thread in miscellaneous section. I know I had a rabbit with mites long, long ago, and bought a product that could be mixed with water to make a dip.I was wondering if anyone knows if I can take care of my rabbits wool mites like I do on my chicken's? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
I'm not very good at sexing chicks, but I would be suspicious that you have a cockerel. The legs look big, and often males do feather-in more slowly. I have had some chicks that are the same breed feather-in at very different rates though. In a few weeks, you should know for sure by comb color.Hi all we are trying to figure out if we may have a rooster in the making, a late bloomer or a different breed of chick in the mix. Our Buff Orpington's will be 4 weeks this week.... This is Nugget she was and still the smallest of the chicks we have and the one in question. No tail feathers as of yet and her coloring is a little different, she does seem to have more of the fuzzy baby chick look still as well. The rest look like this one
