I can't tell you that goats are well behaved animals. They are also incredible hay wasters. That makes my blood boil. Don't they know there's starving children?

lolI threaten to eat them (and the toms) on an almost daily basis.
lol
oh, you have turkeys? what colors?
i think i want some eggs in the spring, and i want a fun assortment of colors
i hear all turkey broodies are nasty, but have never met oneCurrently I have 2 toms (one blue slate mix and one black spanish likely mix) and one pure bourbon red girl. Had a second one of those but she perished in early fall. The turkey girl has been broody about 2 months, now. And is a nasty piece of work when broody. Sweet as can be when she's not.
Why can't I ever have normal animals?
ROFL!!!!!The reason I have 2 toms is because the hen I processed before one of the toms got stuck in the scalder. And the toms were bigger. So... they got a reprieve.
Usually I don't eat the girls, but this one had a love affair with BFs truck. She'd fly out of the run and spend all day on top of his truck, scratching it and pooping on it. She did it to the UPS guy when he'd come deliver, too. He made sure we knew he was thankful she was gone. I guess he got stuck here a few times trying to get her off his truck.
lol, i dont mow, not allowed toLess to mow... just sayin
lol, i dont mow, not allowed to
i guess its not a good idea to run over rocks and such, and since i am in the granite state we have a lot of them
