Maine

I work just down the street in Windham off Rt 302.

well, not sure what you are looking for....i am sure a lot of mine arent pure yet but could be some cool crosses... cream legbar x jubilee orp, ameraucana x oe, hedemora x english orp....

Not really looking for any breed in particular so crosses would be fine. I don't show so for me cold tolerance and friendliness are more important than looks. I do have some golden comets coming next month so I should at least be all set as far as eggs for cooking by fall so egg laying ability is also not a major concern.

my huband finished up one of the new chicken pens tonight! so my tiny little flock, who has been locked in the coop since our neighbor threatened to kill them, gets to go outside tomorrow! i will get out and take pictures tomorrow to share with everyone.

I've been hand carrying mine outside to put in the chicken tractor so they can enjoy the sun. I do'nt dare leave them out all night yet. although i am threatening several that keep jumping out of their pens that I'm going put them outside so they can't escape anymore-grrr. so glad when the first augusta swap happens, they are the first to go!! cuckoo orps and a few lav. orps.

hoppy, whose cuckoo project you get?

I know you asked hoppy, but the answer is there is barring and then there is cuckoo. Barring is uniform barring and cuckoo is uneven barring(what I call messy)

If anyone has roosters that they just want to get rid of, please let me know! I will take any and all roosters and could meet and pick up at swaps or other plans, Please PM me or email at [email protected]. P.S They will most likely not be eaten but used for other purposes like fish ties or hair extensions! Thanks!
