Last night I heard a bunch of coyotes howling not to far away. Now, the poor birdies have to stay in their run today. Stupid coyotes!

Are we neighbors? Same thing going on in my area.

No, we are not neighbors. I live up near Bangor. I think this is the time of year they get extra hungry and start coming closer to people's homes in search of tasty pets.

For some reason, I've not heard much coyote activity this winter. Usually they're very busy in my area. I wonder if it has anything to do with the cougar that's been filmed in our area. I don't like the idea of larger predators near me and my family.... yeah, I know, they were here first!

I like the sounds of our coyotes and even admire them in general. I have yet to have any issues with them here in three years. Now, the foxes on the other hand... pretty little thieves they are!

I've seen a lot of road kill foxes the last few days.

Several miles from my house. A friend had video footage. An other friend had a face to face with one several years ago. But, the game wardens will continue to assure you that there aren't any in our lovely state!

Coyotes were heard here in Brewer, Saturday night. Creepy!
