My father told me this morning how good my entire flock was looking and acting. He is renowned for jinxing things and this was no exception, because this afternoon I found a lovely round worm in a poop. Yuck! I am going to de-worm the whole flock now, but I'm curious if anyone has ever had worms bad enough that it shows up in the poop, but that the birds aren't showing symptoms. The only other time I found a worm in a poop, there was a bird who was already looking sickly.

I have found worms in poop but no one was acting off. They are so good at hiding sickness, it's not even funny!!

Good to know. Last spring I dewormed them fall and spring, but they were looking so good this spring I didn't. Lesson learned!

So today I built a portable chicken yard so my chickens can go out and not bother my neighbors, it's 10'x10'x5' I still need to put the top on so they can't get out. It's made out of 1 1/4 PVC piping 40' hex mesh and zip ties
