Suz, my run is completed... almost. Needs posts trimmed, netting and skirt installed. Big hawk was circling again today. That thing is massive. It's a Northern Goshawk.

Mc: No, but that sounds like a lot of fun!!

Oh I know! I've seen one or something like it. It looked like a big owl sitting on a stump. I almost screamed when it flew away because I had never seen such a wingspan before. I didn't know that existed!scary stuff. I think it could carry me away never mind my chickens!

My coop decided to spring a leak today with the heavy rain. Pretty sure it's where the seams of the metal roofing overlap. Guess I gotta go out and caulk all the seams tomorrow when it dries out some. Not happy AT ALL! Of all places it decided to spring the leak was above the roost and on the poop board. So the pdz in that area is wet. Thank god tomorrow is coop cleaning day. And thankfully where it leaked in the roost no one sleeps at night!

A lovely fellow BYCer got me Trenton today, I'm so excited about it. If you don't drive, don't worry about it. I don't want to inconvenience anyone. I do want the patterns, but I'll do my best to get them from people that won't be inconvenienced.
