Cold enough for you all today??? BRRRR! Snowed almost all the way to work. Thankful that it didn't stay around to make roads slippery.

Winter weather is always a hard transition for me. Not too long from now, yesterday's temperatures will feel like a heat wave.

I still have to put up some plastic around the chicken's sun room and the hay bale cold frame. Hoping that it warms up just a tiny little bit (really hoping for a lot!) and the wind dies down so I can do it without my fingers falling off.

My eggs should arrive in the mail today to hatch. Anyone have 2 or 3 eggs from a neat mix of birds that they'd be willing to part with? Would prefer large fowl. I'll be back and forth to Oakland/Waterville a few times today (our [now friendly] feral cat is getting neutered).
