When I got shipped chicks years ago (no tracking), my post office distributor called me on Sunday to pick up mine, here's hoping yours does, too.

I'd recommend sugar water when you get them home.

I am so not impressed with USPS. My chicks sat for 12 hours before even starting their journey. Then, they were misdirected to Scarborough. Again, sat there all night long... Hoping they arrive in Hampden today, and that I am allowed to pick them up at the Hampden sorting facility. Tracking info states they are not scheduled to arrive until TOMORROW. They left Cackle on Wednesday.
Grrrrr, you would think that the employees would rush LIVE animals
maybe bring water with you right to the PO

good luck!!

So far, they all seem to be doing well. Even the iffy one.
That's great that they are all still alive and doing good. I was super impressed with the Clinton Post office and the USPS with mine. They hatched on Tuesday and The post office called me as soon as they realized there was live chicks. Before 7AM and let me pick them up right then! I literally had to scramble to get the chicks settled before going to work.

Group photo inside coop this morning. Also a pic of my puzzler in the middle. Has larger comb but it's still very pale pink. Tail not as developed as the 2 known roosters and it carries itself like a hen. What are your ideas on this one? Also my dog Gigi really wants to be a chickens! I have to almost drag her away from the cage every time she goes out. She sits and watches them and whines.

Happy to hear your birds arrived safely, LG!

Combatfuzzball, how old is that puzzler bird? It looks rooster-like. I've been fooled before though, keeping a young pullet in the bachelor pen until I noticed they were chasing her around. She is black, so I named her guy noir.
