We tried the salt water, thanks for the suggestions! I really appreciate it!!

I found coconut oil sort of suffocates the bacteria you'd have to separate her though because my chickens just loves coconut oil. The eye is blurred for a while but it worked for me, just saying

Our home is brick so it's safe, we have a closet if we need to go in there
