Here are some pics

Breeding Marans Roo (all of my Roos and Pullets have feathered legs)

Here are some of the pullets (Roo is not my breeder right now)

Shaffer Roo with some Pullets

HappyMtn Roo

Super Blue Egg layers (these pullets are from my EE roo and not the Lavenders)

Blue Cuckoo Marans Pullets

These are First Generation Blue Barred Rocks. Your eggs will be second generation.

I don't have pics of the others.... sorry.

With the Blue Wheaten roo over the Wheaten hens, what are the chances of hatching out a Wheaten roo. What would the babies be? Would it be a mix of Wheaten and Blue Wheaten. Do you have pics of your breeding stock?

My breeds page with one pic of the roo.

Well lets see... with blue wheaten over wheaten 50% would be wheaten and 50% blue wheaten. Then you have the gender thing tossed in so I think your odds of a wheaten roo is 25% in theory.

Eggs arrived well packaged and all intact. Wow the New SBELers are HUGE!!!! Thanks for the extras and I'll keep you posted with pics of the hatch.

Yeah they get really big! My WL are laying even bigger eggs and more double yolkers now. Some of the SBEL are newer layers so the eggs are good size but not huge. Some have been laying for a while and have huge eggs! That is what I breed for in my WL. They are still good layers after 2 years too. My 2 WL hens are just over 2 years old and had their first molt this year... that I know of anyway. Still laying an egg a day for maybe 7-8 days before a break. Got to love great layers.
